Networking and partnership for fighting illiteracy

Building broad coalitions, including civil society organisations and social movements, is a way of raising awareness on iliteracy and getting actual policy change. This is the case of the Canadian province of Québec, where ICAE member, ICÉA (Institut de cooperation pour l’éducation des adultes) leads a broad coalition that in 2017 attained its main objective: having the Québec government propose a national strategy against iliteracy.
