ALE – Speaking with one voice

An alliance of professional networks and institutions has worked together over three years to develop and forge a declaration and brand which helps us speak with one voice for adult learning and education.

We come from Latin America, North America, the Caribbean, Africa, Arab Region, Europe, Asia and South Pacific, and more. We work in local communities, universities, hospitals, industries, adult learning centres, folk high schools, governments, international agencies, social movements, and more. We understand across our various areas of speciality that we have much to gain by identifying with ALE which shows that we are working towards common goals and are in relationship with one another.

We, as an alliance of networks, understand that the time is now to come together to speak with one voice to promote, mobilise and advocate for ALE.
