The Award is given to organisations or project consortiums who present the best transnational projects in adult learning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful adult education strategies, initiatives and projects do not happen in isolation. Cooperations and partnerships are becoming more and more important and often contribute to more innovation, better provision and more participants. Cooperations and partnerships can promote:<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-962 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/icae.global\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Grundtvig_Award-300x171.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"http:\/\/icae.global\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Grundtvig_Award-300x171.jpg 300w, http:\/\/icae.global\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Grundtvig_Award-600x343.jpg 600w, http:\/\/icae.global\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Grundtvig_Award.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Better outreach to new learners;<\/li>\n<li>New adult education provision in new areas;<\/li>\n<li>New learning environments;<\/li>\n<li>New learning pathways;<\/li>\n<li>And much more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year, EAEA Grundtvig Awards will be given to organisations or project consortiums that present best examples of cooperations or partnerships in their nominated project.<\/p>\n<p>With the EAEA Grundtvig Award 2018 EAEA aims to\u00a0raise awareness, at a European level, for successful cooperations and partnerships to further adult learning, to raise awareness of the importance of cooperations and partnerships in adult education, and to\u00a0inspire new partnerships and cooperations in and with adult education.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>More information<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaea.org\/our-work\/capacity-building\/eaea-grundtvig-award\/eaea-grundtvig-award-2018\/\">EAEA Grundtvig Award 2018 call<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaea.org\/our-work\/capacity-building\/eaea-grundtvig-award\/eaea-grundtvig-award-2018\/eaea-grundtvig-award-submission\/\">Submit your application<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaea.org\/our-work\/capacity-building\/eaea-grundtvig-award\/eaea-grundtvig-award-publications\/\">EAEA Grundtvig Award publications<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaea.org\/our-work\/capacity-building\/eaea-grundtvig-award\/\">About EAEA Grundtvig Award<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Main aims:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>To raise awareness, at a European level, for successful cooperations and partnerships to further adult learning<\/li>\n<li>To raise awareness of the importance of cooperations and partnerships in adult education<\/li>\n<li>To inspire new partnerships and cooperations in and with adult education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Why participate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>All participants gain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The certificate of attendance;<\/li>\n<li>Appearance in the EAEA Grundtvig Award publication that will be distributed in EAEA\u2019s events and networks;<\/li>\n<li>International visibility in EAEA\u2019s social media channels and EAEA website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The winners gain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognition and honour;<\/li>\n<li>The certificate of attendance;<\/li>\n<li>A concrete EAEA Grundtvig award (a piece of art or handicraft \u2026.);<\/li>\n<li>An invitation to a person of the winning organisations to the EAEA General Assembly 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia (27\/28 June 2017) and the EAEA Grundtvig Award Ceremony including travel and accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>Key slot in the EAEA Grundtvig Award publication that will be distributed in EAEA\u2019s events and networks;<\/li>\n<li>International visibility of the project in EAEA\u2019s social media channels and EAEA website also after the ceremony;<\/li>\n<li>Appearance in EAEA\u2019s press-release after the competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>How to participate?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Categories:<\/strong><br \/>\nWe will award excellent adult education and learning projects that have worked successfully with interesting and\/or new cooperations and partnerships in three categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>European projects:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>EU + candidate countries need to have a transnational partnership in at least 3 countries<\/li>\n<li>All other European countries need to have either a transnational element or have a strong national partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Projects from outside of Europe:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for projects that have either a transnational element or a strong national or local partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Projects on national or regional levels:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for projects that have a strong national or local partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders and show innovative ways of working with partners and in new cooperations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Projects can but need not be supported by the European Commission. They can but need not be Grundtvig \/ Erasmus+ projects.<\/p>\n<p>The initiatives \/ projects can cover any relevant topic in adult education. In order to celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage, we also call for projects that have had successful partnerships in and with the cultural sector.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>The project must clearly demonstrate that cooperations and partnership were crucial and successful in the development and implementation<\/li>\n<li>It must have evidence of outputs such as a report, website, or any other form of verification;<\/li>\n<li>It is desirable that the project, and especially the partnerships and cooperations that made the project possible, are transferable and\/or useful for others;<\/li>\n<li>The presentation of a learner\u2019s story will be seen as a plus;<\/li>\n<li>The project or the initiative should be up and running for at least a few months and\/or be close to completion;<\/li>\n<li>We also accept finished projects but they should have ended within two years of the Grundtvig ceremony (i.e. June 2016);<\/li>\n<li>We are looking particularly for projects that demonstrate innovative partnerships that have improved adult education provision \/ strategies \/ policies etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>What do we expect?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Please fill in the <a href=\"http:\/\/eaea.org\/our-work\/capacity-building\/eaea-grundtvig-award\/eaea-grundtvig-award-2018\/eaea-grundtvig-award-submission\/\">submission form<\/a>. <\/strong>You may submit a description of your project in one of the following languages: English, French and German. Entries must be received by filling in the form until <strong>Sunday, 15<sup>th<\/sup> of April 2018<\/strong>.
