L’ICAE, \u00e0 travers de son agent responsable des membres et de la mobilisation, Sebasti\u00e1n Vielmas, a particip\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui, mercredi 14 juin, \u00e0 la s\u00e9ance d’informations et des \u00e9changes sur la Conf\u00e9rence de Bilan de Mi-Parcours de CONFINTEA VI organis\u00e9 par l’Institut de coop\u00e9ration pour l’\u00e9ducation des adultes et le Centre de documentation d’\u00e9ducation des adultes et de la condition f\u00e9minine.<\/div>\n
Daniel Baril, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’Institut de coop\u00e9ration pour l’\u00e9ducation des adultes (IC\u00c9A), a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une introduction et une pr\u00e9sentation de la d\u00e9claration de CONFINTEA VI.<\/div>\n
La Commission canadienne de l’UNESCO a \u00e9t\u00e9 repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par Isabelle Levert-Chiasson, qui a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le travail de la Commission au sein de l’UNESCO et de CONFINTEA.<\/div>\n
La convergence des agendas de CONFINTEA et d’\u00e9ducation des adultes et des Objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable a \u00e9t\u00e9 un de points soulev\u00e9s pendant la s\u00e9ance d’informations et d’\u00e9changes.<\/div>\n
Sebasti\u00e1n Vielmas a soulign\u00e9 l’importance que l’on assigne comme ICAE \u00e0 la participation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des mouvements sociaux pour plaider en faveur de l’\u00e9ducation des adultes comme objectif en soi et comme moyen pour accomplir les Objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/div>\n

The ICAE, through its membership and mobilization officer, Sebasti\u00e1n Vielmas, participated today, Wednesday, 14 June, at the meeting of information and exchanges on CONFINTEA VI Mid-Term Review 2017 organized by the l’Institut de coop\u00e9ration pour l’\u00e9ducation des adultes and the Centre de documentation d’\u00e9ducation des adultes et de la condition f\u00e9minine.<\/div>\n
Daniel Baril, the Director General of the Institute of Co-operation for the education of adults (IC\u00c9A), has conducted an introduction and a presentation of the Declaration of CONFINTEA VI.<\/div>\n
The Canadian Commission for UNESCO was represented by Isabelle Levert-Chiasson, who presented the work of the Commission within the framework of UNESCO and CONFINTEA.<\/div>\n
The convergence of agendas of CONFINTEA and adult education and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) has been one of the points raised during the meeting of information and exchanges.<\/div>\n
Sebasti\u00e1n Vielmas stressed the importance that ICAE assigns to the participation of civil society and social movements to plead in favour of the education of adults as a goal in itself and as a means to accomplish the objectives of sustainable development.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
