UIL recognizes individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the fields of lifelong learning, adult and continuing education, literacy and non-formal basic education. Katarina Popovic, next to Ekkehard Nuissl von Rein (former Director of the German Institute for Adult Education) became one of UIL Honorary Fellows during the Hall of Fame Europe Think Tank meeting in Bucharest (28-29 April 2017). ICAE congratulates Katarina Popovic as well as all other six distinguished scholars and practitioners, who have worked locally and globally contributing to Adult Education and Lifelong Learning.
