The initiative was launched by the association in March 2015 as a strategic initiative for adult education, women’s empowerment and achieving sustainable development (2015-2030). This comes within the framework of a development partnership that achieves sustainable development with all stakeholders. This year’s forum was held under the title “The Role of Art, Creativity and Innovation in Lifelong Learning Contexts”. The forum also aims annually to distribute awards to empower women who have been freed from illiteracy by owning micro-projects or social empowerment to complete the stages of education and scholarships to complete university education for women who have been freed from illiteracy. The Arab award went to a woman from Yemen.
Five educational forums were held to discuss themes of the regional digital newsletter “Learning and the Future”. The first advisory board for the document drafting committee was formed, comprising experts and academia, civil society, the government sector, and regional institutions.
