ICAE is proud to announce: SUBREGIONAL GRALE 3 LAUNCH IN BELGRADE
Promotion and festive launch of the Third Global Report on Adult Learning and Education (GRALE 3) for the countries of East and South-East Europe will be held on January 26th in Belgrade.
The event is organized by UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning from Hamburg (UIL), International Council for Adult Education (ICAE, based in Uruguay), Department for Andragogy – Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade and Adult Education Society from Belgrade with the patronage of Ministry of Education, Science and Technological development of the Republic of Serbia and Serbian National Commission for UNESCO.
Global Report on Adult Learning and Education presents one of the key instruments used to assess the progress member states made in the area of adult education. It has a holistic, inter-sectoral approach to lifelong learning by focusing on the influence adult education makes in three main areas: personal – health and wellbeing; economic – employment and labor market, and social – civic and community life. That way GRALE 3 offers guide and valuable information to the policy makers, researchers and practitioners, but also emphasises the important role that education and adult learning will have in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for the sustainable development, especially SDG 4 – “Ensure inclusive and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.
