2. Opening Remarks & Strategic Context

The meeting was opened by Mr. Aziz Kaichouh, who highlighted the vital nature of the AFLLL and ICAE partnership. Discussions centered on:

Global Frameworks: Advancing the GRALE and the Marrakesh Framework for Action (MFA).
Future Milestones: Strategic preparation for the 2028 Mid-term Conference.
Core Principles: Upholding education as a fundamental human right to foster an equitable and just world.

Network Strength: Acknowledging that ICAE’s global impact is rooted in the strength of its regional networks.

3. Proposed Joint Activities

The following actionable initiatives were identified for collaboration:

Advocacy: Development of projects overseen by a dedicated steering committee.
Knowledge Sharing: Hosting four webinars annually (two in English, two in French).
Research: Establishing a specialized “LLL Think Tank.”
Major Event: Joint participation in the Lifelong Learning Conference in Morocco in January 2027.

IALLA Program	Ongoing	Proposal for face-to-face or hybrid capacity-building for adult learning activists.

5. Contributions & Roles

AI Integration: Ms. Salma Bouterraka will lead efforts to integrate AI and digitalization into adult learning initiatives.
Advocacy Sub-group: Mr. Elarbi Imad and Ms. Carole Avande Houndjo were nominated to join the “Advocacy Spaces for Adult Learning” focus group.

The next Meeting: Tentatively scheduled for May 2026.
